'Anjaan' game launched in Chennai

9game provided: The famous movie Anjaan has released a racing game called Anjaan : Race Wars.

The launch of 'Anjaan' game happened yesterday in Chennai in the presence of actor Suriya, Lingusamy and UTV's Dhananjeyan. The mobile game titled 'Anjaan Race Wars' developed by Vroovy, a joint venture between Hungama and Gameshastra.
Commenting on the mobile game based on the film, South Superstar Suriya said, 'I am excited that, for the first time an exclusive game on Anjaan film is being made by Hungama and I am looking forward to its launch and hope the fans will love to play'.
The gameplay of the mobile game revolves around Suriya chasing the goons in a car. The features of the game include:5 different cars including hummer, two types of AI - One of them will be shooting and the other ones will just try to run away, Power ups include Nitro, Fuel, Ammo, Instant repair, Shield, while the weapons include Pistol and shotgun.
The film that will hit screens on 15th August, 2014 will see Suriya in a never seen before role along with Samantha Prabhu and popular Bollywood actors Manoj Bajpai, VidyutJamwal and DalipTahil in supporting roles. The film with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja is directed by N. Lingusamy and produced by UTV Motion Pictures and Thirrupathi Brothers Film Media Pvt. Ltd.

9game provided: Landing onto the Android App Store on the 28th of July, Anjaan Race Wars,the racing game,is an initiative by the makers of the film, in order to promote the film far and wide on a new medium. 

 What's that game?
Similar to the world famous accelerometer based game 'Lane Splitter' Anjaan Race Wars is bent on a car-chase sequence, which is said to be an important scene in the film. The gamer is said to be in a situation where the Jeeva (Samantha) has been taken away by the goons, and it is up to Raju Bhai (Suriya) to save her. The gamer now takes the driver's seat, and becomes Raju Bhai en route to Jeeva. 
On the way, the car does come across a lot of obstacles such as work-pits, oncoming vehicles and barriers. The gamer has to dodge across these obstacles, and also keep in mind to collect various goodies in the likes of petrol pump-ups and NOS boosts. The cops and the villains are here to kick off Raju Bhai, and they'll have to be shot down too.
Pros and Cons
Cons - The motion sensing capability of the game is limited, and lacks perfect calibration. This makes it a touch tougher to play the game on smaller devices. However, these problems can be rectified with the help of an update from the developers.
Pros - First things first, the point of having a game for the film is something uncommon in itself. Games based on our films aren't much in number, and Anjaan Race Wars is something cool to look out for in that aspect. The game is well crafted, with good importance given to acceptable graphics and a small file size. Special camera angles when Raju Bhai takes a shot are a delight.
